Peter Connors and his wife Santina receive the “Spirit of Scouting Award”

November 17, 2020

Our president, Peter Connors, and his wife Santina, were honored to receive the “Spirit of Scouting Award” on November 17, 2020, at the virtual “Spirit of Scouting Breakfast” presented by Hawk Mountain Council, Boy Scouts of America. Pete and Santina were both proud and humbled to receive this award for outstanding commitment to their community. They enthusiastically serve in governance and capital campaign fundraising roles for countless non-profit organizations who serve wherever there is need. Pete credits his love of community to his parents, Jim and Anna Connors, who taught him what it means to give back. He and Santina truly carry on this family legacy of giving. As lifelong locals, they are both committed to Reading and Berks County, in everything they do working to make it a better place to live for all of us.
